Descrizione
Situated in the municipality of Civitella in Val di Chiana, between the Valdichiana and the Valdarno, is this detached house with private swimming pool in a classic Tuscan style dating back to the 19th century, comfortably accommodating up to 12 people. The garden and private pool allow families to enjoy the sun and relax in the water, while children and pets can play in the fully-fenced private garden area. The house is divided into 3 flats, two of which are located in the main building, not communicating from the inside, while the third is in the barn. The flat on the ground floor (3 steps to access) consists of a large living-dining room, a service bathroom where there is a washing machine, a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom and a kitchen; on the first floor (13 steps outside) there is a living-dining room with kitchenette, a 2-bed room with private bathroom, a double bedroom with private bathroom, a 2-bed room and a bathroom in the corridor. The barn is accessed from a private terrace leading to the kitchen, 2 steps down lead to the living-dining area with a sofa bed for 2 people, a bathroom with shower; while on the first floor (17 steps inside) there is a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. The house provides essential services with kitchens equipped with gas and electric hobs, electric oven, coffee machine (moka), fridge-freezer, toaster, oven and dishwasher. There is also wi-fi (internally only in the large living room on the ground floor) also in the pool area. Sleeping places Bedroom 1: one bedroom with a double bed. Bedroom 2: one bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of joining them. Bedroom 3: one bedroom with a double bed. Bedroom 4: one bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of joining them. Bedroom 5: one bedroom with a double bed. Additional costs None Location Situated in the hills of Val di Chiana, the property is located between the village of Civitella in Val di Chiana (6.5km) and the small village of Badia Agnano (4.3km). The first village where you can find various shops and bars is Bucine (11km) where you will find shops selling typical Tuscan products. Montevarchi (20km) in addition to finding shopping centres, there is also the palaeontological museum, where you can see the skeleton of a mammoth, Arezzo (23km) where in June and September it is possible to watch the ancient medieval re-enactment of the ‘Giostra del Saracino’ where representatives of the four quarters of the city compete for the victory of the golden lance. Still speaking of medieval re-enactments, it is possible to visit Siena (46 km) where, on 2 July and 16 August, the world-famous ancient medieval jousting Palio is run. While a visit to the beautiful Florence (69 km), considered an open-air museum city, is a must. For those interested in shopping, you can go to the Prada outlet in Levanella (16.8 km) or to the Val di Chiana outlet (37 km) where you will find all kinds of designer labels. To enjoy a good wine and taste the typicalities of central Tuscany, it is impossible not to recommend a visit to the Chianti region with its hills and its world-famous fine wines. The most visible town is Gaiole in Chianti (34 km), where the start of the world-famous cycling race ‘l'Eroica’ is also held. For the past few years, the Chianti Half Trail race has been held in Radda (41 km), through the villages and vineyards of the area. The nearest airport is Amerigo Vespucci in Florence 81km. Please note that the pool is open from the 15th of May 2024 to the 30th of September 2024 A damage deposit of 2500EUR has to be paid locally for groups under 21.
